Description Mariner's trail-blazing V6 technology is well recognised by those in-the-know in the marine industry. Today's range of Mariner 2-Stroke V6 outboards are based on our big 2.5 or 3 litre cylinder blocks, which pump out the power to match most larger boating requirements. The no-nonsense engineering approach of our V6 range delivers crisp acceleration with smooth, consistent, trouble-free performance.
The secret lies in Mariner's proven Electronic Control Unit (ECU). This ECU continuously monitors air and engine temperature, throttle position, rpm and barometric pressure to automatically adjust the fuel-to-air ratio for instant starts and remarkable efficiency under all conditions. Every engine offers loop-charged induction for improved fuel economy, and ultra reliable gear-driven oil injection.
The V6 range also features large 60 amp or 40 amp alternators that keep charging even at low revs, so you can easily power whatever electronics you have on board.
The range offers a choice of value-for-money super responsive, race-proven Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) models from 150 to 250hp. The slim 60 degree V6 design also makes them ideal for twin-rig installations.

- ECM controlled, single point oil injection reduces oil consumption at idling speeds, reduces smoke, and improves overall efficiency.
- New electric oil pump allows a faster and more accurate oil rate change with engine RPM as well as engine load changes.
- ECM controlled EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) provides quick, turn-key starts and constantly adjusts the engine according to operating conditions.
- Superior automotive style, belt driven 60-amp/756 watt alternator for the best in class charging capabilities.
- Powerful 60-degree V6 configuration provides a compact block design with impressive, high power output.
- Convenient freshwater flushing feature allows for flushing and back flushing the entire cooling system for added durability.
