Quintrex offers inflatable aluminium first

Quintrex has released its first inflatable boat range – Quintrex RIB’s (Rigid Inflatable Boats) -

created in partnership with leading inflatable boat manufacturer, Zodiac.

This will be the first time Quintrex has worked in partnership with another marine manufacturer

to produce a boat range.

Quintrex National Sales & Marketing Manager Damien Duncan said Quintrex’s RIB’s are

unique.

“Our RIB’s are the first Australian aluminium inflatable boats to feature a slide mechanism only

previously used on fibreglass inflatables,” Damien said.

“This means owners of our RIB’s can attach and remove the inflatable tubes in a short time and

enjoy a lighter vessel that is easy to maintain and repair.

“As result of this unique feature the boats will be particularly popular as tenders,” he said.

There are three sizes available in the RIB range, 2.6m (260), 3.1m (310) and 3.46 (340).

The smallest of the range, the 260, can carry up to three people, is powered by a maximum 8hp

and is constructed with 2mm bottom sides.

All three models are 1.8m across the beam while the 310 and 340 feature 3mm bottom sides.

The 310 can carry up to four people and is powered by a maximum 20hp while the 340 carries

up to 5 people and is powered by a maximum 25hp.

All models can be transported on the top of a car or caravan and come standard with a bench

seat, one set of oars, non slip flooring, a foot pump and repair kit.
