This Sunday December 3 at 1pm Channel 10 will air the first episode of the fourth season of the Australian Fishing Championships.
There are 3 new faces this year all of whom have qualified through the ABT Series so keep a lookout for Mathew Mott (Winner ABT Bass Pro Grand Final 2005), Scott Towner (ABT Bream Grand Final 2005) and Darren Dizzy Borg (NSW Angler of the Year 2005)

NEW ADVENTURE OUTDOORS TELEVISON PROGRAM
Starting 7 December a new outdoors adventure program will be aired on Thursday nights on C31 Melbourne and Geelong.
The program is called Adventure Bound and features fishing and outdoor action from Victoria as well as right around Australia. In its first season Adventure Bound will feature episodes from Jervis Bay in NSW to the beaches of far west South Australia, and from Port Campbell to the Gulf of Carpentaria. Adventure Bound is presented by Neil Tedesco, regular VFM contributor Andrew Clark and qualified chef Shane Hannet who will show you delicious and easy ways to cook your catch. DPI & F Upgrades Fishwatch Hotline
The Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries has upgraded its Fishwatch Hotline to respond more readily to illegal fishing reports.Queensland Boating and Fisheries Patrol (QBFP) senior project officer Bob Ferguson said when people rang the hotline they would now be directed to a QBFP officer in the area the alleged activity was occurring
